Be Green Challenge Week 4 (Couldnt get access to other blog)

This week I’ve been saving a little bite more money because I haven’t raged on wanting to spend money on clothes. I do agree that it’s hard, Ive been having a hard time because I can’t seem to let go if online shopping. I’ve actually gone shopping at a store and I look around and see things that I want but find ways to think about why I don’t need it. It’s been a rough four weeks but I think I’ve been doing okay. I was in need of a outfit for a festival during this weekend and I wanted to go shopping for it but I decided to take a bra that ice had for a while that I don’t wear and transform it into something that I can use. The bra was a little plain but I added ribbon and flowers that I’ve already had from crafts and made something with it and then the bottoms I just reused the ones I had before and it turn out great! I wanted to make sure I looked cute because during this event (Electric Daisy Carnival) is the weekend where everybody goes all out on their outfits and I wanted to be apart of that culture! It reminds me of the cute culture we talked about last week and how it’s not about just looking cute but living that life style. To me personally I am like that with the rave culture. Most of the time people enjoy going to these festivals to get wasted or do drugs but I go because I love the music, I love the artists and support them with all my will! I wouldn’t pay $500 + tax for a weekend to get wasted! But rave culture is the same, it’s a lifestyle and not everybody likes that it’s what I love.
