I agree with the article japanese Teens as Producers ofStreet Fashion by Yuniya Kawamura for several reasons. one of them is the fact that more and more are modern trends and therefore fashion set not by professionals in their field but rather by one of our own kind. Wether it be a vlogger, blogger, or actor there is a reason many brands partner with people who carry a large following as "influencers". Giving them benefits and offering them compensation or free swag, to try to leverage their following into buying something they think their favorite content creator likes. This alone proves that trends are being set from the inside out rather than by the designers nowadays.
