Week 4: Santa's Sweatshop

I always remember hearing about sweatshops and how unethical they are, but I never knew just how inhumane they really are. While companies like Patagonia and Levi Strauss are taking measures to ensure better working conditions for the factories they own or buy from, the issue is still far too widespread and not covered well enough. It still hasn't reached the kind of attention that organic farming  products for instance have managed. We can control these conditions with our dollars but until now I didn't know the full extent of these atrocities. The only way to stop it is to for change at the highest level and show the executives that we care about moral values more than a sale or discount.
