Week 1
Style Point of View
Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good
Jinia Lee
My
personal style varies because there's so many factors that influence what I
wear for the day such as how I'm feeling, the weather, my plans, etc. On a
regular day of school, I usually wear outfits that are pretty casual and
comfortable like sweaters, jackets, jeans, or leggings. I always gear towards
boots since I can dress them up and down or my white slip-on Vans because
they're easy to wear and go. On days where I'm not feeling the best, I wear
things that cover me up like oversized hoodies and sweaters, hats/beanies, and
my glasses. My closet is full of pinks, burnt orange, greys, and a lot of
florals. During spring and summer, I like to wear crop tops, shorts, dresses,
and sandals. It's also rare to see me without hoop earrings because I feel like
they make my casual outfits a little better.
Ever since freshman year of college, I've been following the quote, "Look good, feel good, do good" whenever I need that extra confidence in situations like midterms, finals, bad days, etc. I think that it has helped me become more aware of my style and what makes me feel good because it transfers over to how my mood and interactions will be for the day.
I personally don't have any fashion icons that I look up to, but I usually tend to be inspired by Instagram accounts that post their Outfits of the Day (OOTDs) and anything that seems to be in trend and fits my style.
